CAREER COACHING FOR YOUNG ADULTS
The Blue Goat Young Adult individual coaching is designed with the School Leaver or Young Adults in mind. These sessions are highly personalised while being relaxed, fun and safe for your to express your ideas - this helps get to know and understand you better.
During these private sessions, we will facilitate you to understand the options available to you based on YOUR unique aspirations, goals, skills, personality, interests, motivation and values. You will learn the fundamentals of how to make the best career choices for you today and learn how apply those principle in the future.
INDIVIDUAL COACHING
Your Blue Goat Coach will create a personally customised plan for you, based on the combination of your aspirations, goals, skills, personality, interests, motivation and values. It will be unique to you, and only you. All our individual coaching is based on how you can make the best choices for your own career and life journey.
YOUR SESSION INCLUDES:
A pre-meeting series of questions
Up to 1.5 hrs of one-on-one discussions to explore all options relevant to you
A summary of key points covered during your session plus a plan of next steps
Email support follow up (when required)
For students under 18 years, parents are provided with a 10min debrief.
OPTIONAL EXTRAS:
Our In-Depth Session features an expansive Career Questionnaire to explore your career options in more details.
STANDARD SESSION: $250 per person
IN-DEPTH SESSION: $350 per person
GROUP COACHING SESSIONS
If you prefer to join in the fun of working with peers in a group, Blue Goat hosts group sessions for up to 10 people on a regular basis at various locations across Brisbane and South East Queensland. Each session explores the six key steps of how to make great career choices, and practical applications for how to apply them to your personal career preferences.
GROUP SESSIONS INCLUDE:
In a 3 hour session, complete a six part series of activities that work through how you can make career decisions targeted to meet your personal needs. Leave with a practical plan for how to move forward, with email support to follow up until the plan is finalised.
GROUP SESSION: $150 per person
SESSION + IN-DEPTH QUESTIONNAIRE: $200 per person
PARENT’S COACHING
As parents, we all want the best for our children. We can often see the challenges ahead, but aren’t able to find the best way to support and assist our young adults.
Because of this unique challenge, we have designed a parents programme similar to the programme their child will undertake but with additional guidance about how parents can best work with their child. We will help identify what aspects of the support provided to your child are best managed from a parent or non-parent influence.
Parents also gain the benefit of cross checking if they have mastered their own career decisions and use the principals of this programme.
YOUR SESSION INCLUDES:
Spend up to 1.5 hours exploring your young adults career decision making process. We will also address the personal dynamics of how to best work with your own child through this critical transition from dependent child to independent adult.
PARENT COACHING SESSIONS: $250 per parent
