WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR
BLUE GOAT SESSION
Our Blue Goat Coaches aim to create a relaxed, fun and safe space for our clients to explore any career option. You will be free to engage in open conversations with your coach without judgement or fear. Using Choice Theory as our foundation, our coach will guide you to delve into what you really think about yourself, explore your career options and challenge you to think a little differently, while having fun and the freedom to consider anything.
At the end of your sessions, expect to have a clearer understanding of what you might want to do, be more confidence in who you are, and develop a plan for action to help set you on the best path to achieve you career aspirations.
HOW WE WORK WITH YOU
First of all, your Blue Goat Career coach will get to know you, discover where you are on your career journey and understand what you need to achieve in the immediate future.
Everyone is different in the way they think and understand themselves. Regardless of how much you have or have not already explored and learnt about yourself, our coach will work from where you are and help to uncover the unique combination of the skills you have, what you like to do, what your personal style is, what motivates you, your goals and aspirations and, above all else, help you gain a clear understanding of what you NEED in your life.
Each conversation will be adapted to meet your unique circumstances, and move as slowly or as quickly as you need through each area.
ONGOING SUPPORT
Your Blue Goat Career coaches will work with you for as long as you need. We can provide on-going sessions via face-to-face appointments, phone calls, zoom links - wherever you are. We encourage our clients to ‘check-in’ and reassess whenever they need to, especially during those times of career path changes, workplace concerns or simply when you need a bit of clarity.
Additionally, we offer an optional in-depth career questionnaire which can be used as a concrete way to identify your key strengths / skills / interests etc. The tool can be used as many times as you want throughout your career, and provides access to up to date research about the current career market, study options and divergent career pathways.
